Quite a musical journey on this collection from a Texas-based five-piece. The starting point is the thoroughly modern rock of "Thank You Lord" and "Be Still". Then there is the blues laden good ol' rock'n'roll of, for example, "Glory Glory". The glue that holds it all together is the simple fact that the band really can play and that Suzanne Olman who sings the bulk of the songs has the ability to sing equally well with the required variety of styles that fits it all together perfectly. |
