whiskysam I am a Phoenician, born in the jungles of Africa, with British and American nationalities. I was taught and influenced by The great Armenian guitarist Paul Gauro in Beirut.Lebanon back in 1962.He blew me and my brother Moon away the first time he played that guitar.He finger picked Flamingo and classical music on that guitar ,and we knew right then that we were gonna play Guitar for the rest of our lives.Since then I've played all over the world. BA in Music from the University of North Dakota, with an emphasis in Classical guitar. My style is Mediteranean Rock with influences from many like: The Beatles, Beethoven, Zepplin, Mozart, Sabbath, Deep Purple, Villa Lobos, Andre Segovia,Def Leppard,Zombie, Metallica,van halen A blend of all, resulting in a New Mediteranean Rock that is in your face politicaly, romanticaly, and Internationally. My love and inspiration is Phoenicia. The band members right now: Drummer Bill Martinez ,Brian M Brian on Bass and voacls.
